Engineering - Career Profile

If you have a four year degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university and/or your Professional Engineering license and are looking to start your career or are seeking a career change, then Dominion could be just the place for you.

Use your engineering skills to assist with one or more of the following:

• Ensure the proper maintenance, operation and design of our fleet of regulated and merchant powers stations while maintaining our superior safety records;
• Provide the structural analysis for a transmission line;
• Determine the proper fuse size for an electrical line that is being designed;
• Provide reliability support through performance analysis of electrical facilities and producing failure trends;
• Apply your skills working in the gas transmission area assisting with assessing pipeline integrity and determining repairs and remediation of pipelines;
• Serve as the Dominion liaison with regulatory agencies, developing and recommending compliance procedures and tools, and advancing in engineering techniques.
