Diversity Scholarship Program

Dominion is committed to creating and reinforcing an inclusive, creative and productive environment in which each employee feels accepted, respected and believes it is possible to achieve his or her fullest potential.

With that in mind, we are pleased to offer the Dominion Diversity Scholarship Program. This program is open to students enrolled full-time in a field of study mutually beneficial to the company and the individual.

This program assists students in achieving their fullest potential by providing a $5,000 scholarship and a paid summer internship. These paid internships allow students to develop their skills by working side-by-side with our professionals, learning new skills and sampling new technologies involved in the energy industry.

Program Guidelines

To be eligible for consideration the following criteria must be met:

• All applicants must currently have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale.
• All applicants must be enrolled/registered as a full-time student for the current academic year at an accredited 4-year college or university.
• At the time of applying, applicants must be a college freshman, sophomore or junior.
• Acceptance of a scholarship requires that the applicant commit to a paid 10-12 week intern work session during the summer. This work session is contingent upon satisfactory completion of normal pre-employment requirements.
• Scholarship awards are subject to: a) satisfactory completion of the summer work session, and b) receipt of the applicant's final transcripts, which must include the fall semester.
