- What is eBill (electronic billing)?
eBill is a paperless billing program. After enrolling, you will begin receiving an e-mail each time your account has a new bill. The e-mail will include summary bill information and a link to view your bill and other important billing information. You may also choose to pay your bill online for free.
- Can I participate in the Budget Billing and Automatic Bank Draft programs while enrolled in eBill?
Yes, the eBill program is compatible with our Automatic Bank Draft and Budget Billing programs.
- Is eBill secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring customer data. When we transfer sensitive information, we redirect you to a secure server that encodes all the data before it is transmitted over the Internet.
- Will I still receive a paper bill if I enroll in eBill?
No, you will no longer receive a paper bill via U.S. mail. Instead, you will receive an e-mail each time your account has a new bill due. We will send you a turn-off notice in the U.S. mail if your account becomes delinquent and is subject to disconnection. If you ever want a paper bill, it's easy to print a copy from your computer.
- How do I know when my bill is ready?
You will receive an e-mail each time your account has a new bill due. Follow the link in the e-mail to view your bill online.
- What should I do if I do not receive an e-mail advising me that my bill is ready?
First, it's important to note that you are able to view your bill online even if you have not received an e-mail reminder.
If you're not receiving e-mails from Dominion:
- Sign in and go to your Profile to verify your e-mail address is correct.
- Check your spam folder. Certain e-mail spam filters could be blocking your e-mail. Adding our e-mail address to your safe list will prevent the e-mail from being blocked from your in-box.
- Check to make sure your e-mail in-box is not full and therefore unable to receive the e-mail.

- How do I view my bill?
Follow the link provided in your e-mail or sign in, select your account, and select the bill you want to view. Up to twelve months of bills are available online.
- How do I view bill inserts, newsletters or customer information that would have been mailed with my paper bill?
When you view your bill online, there are links at the bottom of the page to view this information.
- How do I pay my bill?
Your eBill can be paid for free using the following online options:
- Pay online from your bank account for free. You control the date and amount. Same day payment notification available. Registration required to make a payment in Manage Your Account.
- Schedule a payment using a free service powered by CheckFree.
- Enroll in Dominion's Automatic Bank Draft program and have your payment automatically deducted each month from your checking or savings account.
You may also pay by:
- Credit/debit card or electronic check. Registration in Manage Your Account is not required. Fees apply.
- Online banking through your own financial institution.
- When will my payment be posted to my account?
It depends on the payment method you use:

Payments received after that time will be posted on the next business day. Authorized Payment Centers Payments made before 4:30 p.m. Eastern time Monday-Friday (except holidays) will be posted to your account that same day. Payments received after that time will be posted on the next business day. Payments made before 8:30 p.m. Eastern time will be reported to Dominion in time to prevent any pending disconnection of service. - How do I cancel eBill?
You can cancel your enrollment online anytime. Once you've stopped eBill, your next bill will be sent via U.S. mail.
