Electronic Billing and Payment

If you're a commercial customer and have the ability to send or receive data via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), you can receive and pay your bills electronically. There is no charge for this service. If you aren't EDI compliant or don't wish to use EDI, register or sign in to see if you're eligible for our online billing service to receive and/or pay your bills online.
 

Electronic Billing

If you would like to receive your bills electronically, you should have either installed translation software that can translate an EDI formatted bill or made arrangements with a third party provider to receive and translate the EDI bill. An EDI-capable bank could serve as the third party. You must pay your bills electronically if you receive your bills electronically.

Advantages of receiving bills electronically:

• The ability to pull billings directly into an Accounts Payable system without having to key the invoice.
• The ability to pull energy information directly into an energy management system.
   

Electronic Payments

When you pay your bills electronically, we can credit your account directly. It's vital your payment has the correct customer account number. We prefer ACH payments in either CTX or CCD+ format but are willing to discuss other formats such as CIE, CIE+, PPD, PPD+ and CCD. An EDI-capable bank may facilitate such payments for you. You may pay electronically even if you do not receive your bills electronically.
