Dominion Virginia Power routinely replaces and upgrades equipment as part of its efforts to improve the reliability of your electric service. This maintenance work:

identifies circuits that cause higher incidences of service interruptions;
replaces or upgrades defective equipment to current industry standards;
puts protective devices in place to minimize service interruptions; and
installs technology that helps our crews easily locate problems and restore power more efficiently when outages occur.
