Heating and Cooling Terms and Conditions

Pennsylvania Furnace

The Furnace Repair Program ("Program") of Dominion Products & Services, Inc. ("Dominion") covers only natural gas furnaces in single-family residences.

  1. Prices apply to one furnace per household (natural gas furnaces only). This Program does not cover mobile home furnaces.
  2. Coverage under the Program starts after first payment is received and enrollment in the program exceeds 30 days. Coverage continues thereafter so long as the customer makes timely payments. Customer payments prepay coverage under the Program. Coverage is suspended at the end of the prepaid period in cases of nonpayment. A customer's account must be in good standing (current) in order for that customer to receive repair service under the Program. Customer may cancel participation at any time.
  3. The Program covers all residential equipment makes and ages unless restricted due to unavailability of repair parts. Dominion and its approved contractors shall not be responsible for service or parts provided by the customer or any third party. Parts not shown in the coverage chart and related labor are not covered. Exclusions include, but are not limited to, heat exchangers, humidifiers, air cleaners and heat pumps. Customer shall be responsible to make payment directly to the contractor for any parts and/or labor not covered under the Program.
  4. To be eligible for coverage, equipment must be installed to the manufacturer's specifications and meet code requirements. Further, equipment that is not functioning properly at the time customer enrolls in the Program is not eligible for coverage. Dominion reserves the right to inspect equipment for sixty (60) days after receipt of the customer's application and to reject application if equipment is not functioning properly. Dominion also reserves the right to make final coverage eligibility decisions.
  5. Dominion contractors must be provided safe access to, and safe working conditions at and around all covered equipment.
  6. This Program is intended for the repair of furnaces. Dominion shall not be responsible for the replacement of equipment that Dominion determines beyond repair.
  7. Dominion's liability to the customer is limited solely to furnace repairs. Dominion shall have no other liability for any other direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or other damages. Dominion will not be responsible for damage caused by the customer, third parties, natural disasters, acts of God or other insurable causes.
  8. Dominion shall have the right to modify the Program, from time to time, and will provide thirty (30) days written notice of material changes. Dominion shall also have the right to terminate the Furnace Repair Program on ninety (90) days written notice.
  9. By signing the enclosed reply card, the customer: a) represents that to the best of his/her knowledge equipment to be covered is functioning properly; b) authorizes the customer's utility to provide Dominion with any information about this account.
  10. Customer charges for this Program will appear on customer's monthly utility bill. If utility billing is not possible, payments can be prepaid.
